Clos Berenguer («Клос Беренгер») – маленькая семейная винодельня, основанная в 1999 году и расположенная в Приорате между национальными парками Pas de l´Ase и Reserva Natural Llaberia. Для производства вин владелец хозяйства Франсеск Беренге Рекасенс и его семья постарались использовать все преимущества местного терруара и особенности ландшафта. Например, винодельню они построили на месте старого дома на склоне холма и сделали ее трехуровневой. Благодаря этому процесс производства вина основан на максимальном применении гравитационных методов. Кроме того, прямо под зданием винодельни семья обнаружила старые шахты для добычи марганца, бездействовавшие с 1930-х годов, со времен гражданской войны в Испании, и нашла им новое применение: теперь там выдерживаются вина в бутылках. Сохранила семья и 80-летние лозы гренаша и кариньяна, которые остались от предыдущих владельцев виноградников. Изготовление вина из ягод с таких старых растений, дающих экстремально низкий урожай, идеально вписывается в философию компании. Неслучайно, приобретая новые лозы сиры и каберне совиньона, Франсеск специально выбрал клоны с низкой урожайностью. Особый характер винам Clos Berenguer также придают почвы, на которых расположены три виноградника компании: уникальные местные сланцы под названием Licorella (участки Finca Reboix и Finca Solanes) и известняковые породы (участок Finca Les Sorts).
Особенности производстваРучной сбор винограда. Мягкое прессование. Все сорта винифицируются раздельно. Алкогольная ферментация в емкостях из нержавеющей стали при контролируемой температуре +25°С – +27°С. 28-дневная мацерация. Вино 12 месяцев выдерживается в дубовых бочках, а затем 6-8 месяцев в бутылках.
ТерруарВиноградники расположены в 44 км от побережья Средиземного моря вблизи притока реки Эбро. Климат: большие разницы между дневными и ночными температурами. Почвы: сланцевые и известняковые. Возраст лоз гренаша и кариньяна: от 80 лет.

ОрганолептикаГлубокий рубиновый цвет. Насыщенный букет с оттенками спелых красных фруктов, сливы, ароматных трав, поджаренного хлеба, изюма, карамели, шоколада и бальзамическими нотами. Вкус мощный, объемный, идеально сбалансированный, с продолжительным устойчивым фруктовым послевкусием.

«90 points Priorat, a new wine region for me, located in the southwest Province of Catalonia, in it namesake county this wine pays tribute to its home soil. It has a chalky minerality due to the black slate and quartz it's vines are grown in, known as licorella. Menthol, all spice, blackberries and tart cherries are on the nose after the whiff of alcohol blew off with time in the glass. The tannins are well integrated, but the high acidity and chalkiness will pucker you cheeks.....if that's your thing. »

«Final wine of the last cottage long weekend was this Priorat pulled from our cellar. It’s been almost a year since our last tasting of the 2015 vintage and it continues to show progress. The typical Priorat grapes along with CS and Syrah are found in this wine. Dark maroon in the glass. On the nose is dark berries, earth and petrol. The flavour profile is still a little jagged but starting to smooth out with flavours of blackberry, black currant, cherry, leather and a hint of earth and tobacco. 4.0 ✨»
